It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude that we would like to thank you all for a splendid day on 6 October.

The CHRISTINE DEROM for AFIA SHULENI GOLF CHALLENGE was a success beyond expectations!

The magnificent Indian summer gave us its warmest sunshine, turning the Latem course into a resplendent showcase.

Everyone was enthusiastic: sponsors, donors, players and organisers all enjoyed a day marked by friendship and generosity of spirit.

A prize table overloaded with gifts was proof of this, and the prize-giving ceremony at sunset rounded off the sportive part of the event in an exceptional setting.

The dinner, animated by an auction by our two generous artists, brought a joyous end to a day we won't soon forget...

After a quick count, we can announce that thanks to your contributions we have raised €41,750, all of which will go towards the work of our teams, for the benefit of the schoolchildren of Bukavu!

We've far exceeded our initial budget, and without your invaluable help we simply wouldn't have been able to organise an event of this scale.

The Golf Challenge

The competition will be played in a Double 4BBB in 2 categories. You can play 18 holes or 9 holes (starting times from 14h30).You can register individually or as a team. An official handicap of 36 is required. The number of players is limited to 130.

Participation fee*:

18 holes: € 165 per person9 holes: € 140 per person

* The reception and charity dinner are included in the participation fee.

The Charity Dinner

The Golf Challenge will be followed by a prize-giving ceremony, a reception and a charity dinner in the clubhouse. During the dinner we will organise an auction of several pieces of art.This part of the event is open to non-players.

Participation fee (for non playing friends): € 95 per person

Particular requirements regarding diets or food allergies can be communicated in the subscription form.
